Description
When the magnetic features in your machines demand a different ball.
These balls are manufactured in India and Italy depending on availability. No US manufacturer produce Carbon balls.
NOTE: Polaris™ carbon pinballs, no matter how much they are professionally polished, do not have the ultra shine of the more expensive Ninja pinball and will have more of a satin finish. The weight and roundness are exactly on spec for a pinball. Chromes are 2.8 oz (80 grams)and carbons are 2.9 oz (81 grams). Carbon balls are also softer in nature than chrome balls and will scratch faster than chrome. Please take this into consideration if you have become used to the look of the Ninja or standard chrome ball because carbon, having a different molecular structure, won’t measure up to the chrome balls in appearance but will give you much longer lasting play in a machine with magnets. ALL CARBON BALLS ARE MADE OUTSIDE THE USA. The US manufacturers all contract with foreign sources to make carbon steel balls for the secondary market as they cannot be used for high stress, low friction or low noise mechanical applications.
Measures 1-1/16″ and weighs 2.9 oz.
ABOUT MAGNETISM: If a machine has aggressive magnet usage, there is still a small chance the ball may become magnetized over time. Polaris balls are designed to resist this magnetization far longer than Ninja balls. However, be aware that some machines feature long periods of sustained magnet usage and no ball can stay totally ‘neutral’ forever.

The balls are what they advertised to be, faster than normal pinball machimne balls. I have 2 exit gates that do not exit approx. 40 to 60 percent of the time with my old balls. With these balls, they exit 100% of the time. If you have areas in your machine that depend on the ball reacting a certain way, these balls will change the reaction.
The balls are good but not usable for me in my machine.

Arrived with the envelope full of some powdered substance. Made a huge mess when opening it. Seemed like the consistency or salt or something similar. Guessing it might have been a busted open silica pack? At least I hope it was. Any other explanation means someone had to dump it in there on purpose. Either way, the opening experience sucked. The pinballs are fine, although I have had some magnetization issues with a MRS switch already. Thought these balls would not do that.
