How Tariffs Effect You
Higher costs The tariffs now placed on China’s imported steel products have a direct effect on pinballers. When the US places tariffs in imported steel and products, the importer raises the price of these products to cover the costs. The importer (you) will in turn pay a higher price at the market when you buy the products, like pinballs. Since American companies have prices higher than the gaming market will bear for the simple steel ball, most business have gone offshore to procure them. Now that they cost more, the American companies will in turn raise their prices to match … Read More
It’s Here!
Finally got the carbon balls. After much anticipation and sweat, I finally got the carbon pinball in house…along with 2 tons of other types I need for specialty customers. Working with a herniated disc has been no fun this past month and is the reason this blog has been somewhat neglected. After a good bit of therapy I’m finally able to get around although I’m walking with a very distinctive limp. Steel, in bulk has become my nemesis. Enough about me – I bitch to much. As I was saying, the Carbon Pinball is in stock as well as the … Read More
Don’t Ya Hate When That Happens?

So, What About The Ninja Ball?
IS IT REALLY A BETTER BALL? Day 2 //It’s been almost a year since the ballbaron.com website was stampeded by all the enthusiastic pinballers out there. I’m grateful, excited and still playing catch-up, a little bit. There are probably as many, if not more pinball machine collectors and players out there than there are classic car buffs. I think, at heart, the two are very similar. Nothing says good old fashion Americana like the flashy display of a polished 57 Chevy or the loud report and blinking features of a well-cared for Kiss game. The Ninja ball will get you … Read More
Day 1 – Welcome To The Ballbaron.com Blog!
Pinball Central Blog of Spheres Welcome all – It’s time to put this ballbaron.com blog to use for both the exchange of ideas regarding all things pinball as well as the other categories of items I sell. I’m not sure how often I’ll update this or how many topics I can cover with my limited knowledge of the gaming side. One thing is for sure, and that’s balls. We’ll have a few discussions on that to start things off and the Ninja pinball is at the top of the list. I’m not going to write novels on here either. These will be … Read More
